Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork

I graduated massage school in 2002. Since then I have been adding and combining therapeutic modalities such as Craniosacral Therapy, Neurosomatic Therapy and Postural Restoration. Most recently I completed Level 1 of Internal Family Systems Therapy which is a body centered, evidence-based psychotherapeutic modality. In addition to these modalities I am also trained in pre-natal massage, aromatherapy and I am trauma informed.

My education and experience has given me a holistic approach to massage and bodywork. Sessions begin with a postural analysis and intake. The postural analysis gives me a view of the skeleton and its relationship with the muscular system. This process helps me locate any dysfunctional patterns in the body. Identifying these patterns and working to correct them has been proven effective in relieving a number of chronic and acute pain dysfunctions and syndromes. My clients that have unsuccessfully looked for answers for their discomfort have walked away with a new understanding of where their pain comes from and experience relief from it.

Every body and internal world is unique and responds to stimulus differently. Therefore, it is important to me to work with the comfort levels of my clients. This approach helps you relax physically and emotionally so your system can benefit from the WORK or just RELAX.
